Cultural Resources Overview: Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests

This overview is a statement of known and expected cultural resources on land in the Chattahoochee and Oconee National Forests in Georgia (Figure 1). It also provides Forest Service personnel a management statement and guide to cultural resources appearing on National Forest land. The overview focuses on National Forest lands, but also refers to known cultural resources in Georgia and adjacent states.
