Abstract

This is a brief report documenting a Phase I archeological survey of a 3.31-acre tract that is the proposed location of the East Georgia College 115/25 kV substation in Emanuel County, Georgia. The survey was conducted to ensure that the Rural Utilities Service (RUS) and Georgia Transmission Corporation (GTC) are in compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended. No archeological sites were found within the tract, thus accounting for the brevity of this report.
