Phase I Archaeological Survey of the Proposed Resurfacing along State Route 383, Columbia and Richmond Counties, Georgia

The proposed work consists of milling, resurfacing, leveling, patching, and curb cuts along a 0.936 mile section of SR 383 from the I-20 overpass in Columbia County to Powell Road in Richmond County (Figure 1). The project will take place within existing right-of-way (ROW) which varies throughout. The limits of construction will be 5 feet from the edge of pavement.
