The proposed work consists of milling, patching, resurfacing, striping, as well as the installation of indentation rumble strips, earth shoulder filling, and curb cuts along a 1.7-mile section of State Route (SR) 520/US Highway (US) 82 in Atkinson County from 37 feet west of Kirkland Road to 720 feet west of the median crossover at the beginning of the grassed median (Figure 1). The project will take place within existing right-of-way (ROW) which varies throughout. The limits of construction will be 5 feet from the edge of pavement.
