Abstract

The Hobgood site was a multicomponent site third terrace overlooking the Etowah River Georgia. Mitigation excavations at the si site probably functioned as a seasonal hunting/collecting camp during the Woodstock period and as a single family farmstead during the historic Cherokee period.
