Abstract

Main project: The original proposed project consisted of widening SR 119/Airport Road from the existing two lane facility to a four lane divided highway with a 24 foot raised median on a proposed right-of-way that varies from 160 to 200 feet. Weaver (2007) conducted a Phase I Archaeological Resources Survey for the main project. Project addendum: This addendum to the project consists of incorporating three off-site drainage areas. The first offsite outfall (Outfall1) is located approximately 400 feet south of Briarcliff Road. An existing 36" RCP extends approximately 400 feet east of the proposed right-of-way on an existing 35 foot drainage easement to an existing ditch. A 24" RCP is proposed to parallel the existing 36" RCP to the existing ditch. The second offsite outfall (Outfall 2) is located approximately 250 feet north of Kentucky Derby. A 36" RCP is proposed. on a proposed 50 foot drainage easement to extend approximately 60 feet east of the proposed right-of-way to an existing ditch. The third offsite outfall (Outfall3) is located approximately 200 feet south of Pine Ridge Way. An existing 24" RCP extends approximately 300 feet east of the proposed roadway to an existing ditch. A 36" RCP is proposed to parallel the existing 24" RCP to the existing ditch on a proposed 50 foot drainage easement.
