The proposed project would widen US 41/SR 3/North Wall Street in Calhoun. The proposed project begins at the intersection of US 41/SR 3/North Wall Street and SR 156/Red Bud Road and ends at the intersection of CR 492/Moss Parkway and US 41/SR 3/where it ties into an existing five lane section. The widening would be to the west of the existing roadway. The existing right-of-way is 60 feet; an additional 40 feet of right-of-way would be required. Project length is 1.54 miles. An archaeological survey consistent with the proposed project corridor was conducted for the entire length of the project.
