The proposed project would consist of the construction of a transit administration building and bus maintenance bays to service Pierce County Transit. The proposed project would be located between Nichols Street and Pierce Industrial Boulevard, just east of Mimosa Lane, in the City of Blackshear in southern Pierce County, Georgia. The proposed transit administration building would include approximately 4,000 sq. fl. of office space, and the proposed maintenance bays would be located adjacent to the transit building. The site plan would also include areas for bus parking and bus washing. These structures cover an area of roughly 0.526 hectares (1.3 acres).
