Abstract

Project STP-191-1(11) consists of a proposal to provide two eastbound passing lanes on US 76/SR 282 at two locations west of Ellijay. The westernmost section would begin near Crooked Branch Creek and extend approximately 1.7 miles to the east, ending at the intersection with CR 53. The easternmost section would begin just east of Mountaintown Creek and extend 1.75 miles to the east, ending at the intersection with CR 17. The proposed right-of-way would vary from 100 feet to 150 feet, depending upon the slope and grade preparation. Total project length is approximately 3.45 miles.
