The proposed project would reconstruct and widen U.S.80 northeast of Columbus. The project as proposed would begin at the intersection of U.S.27Alt./S.R.85 then would extend easterly along existing U.S.80 to Kendall Creek. Widening would take place on the north side of u.s.ao with some symmetrical widening occurring at the western and eastern ends of the project. An archaeological survey consistent with the proposed rights-of-way was surveyed for the entire 9.6 mile length of the proposed project corridor.
