Abstract

Project BHF-012-1(97) and BHF-012-1(98), Bartow County would consist of the replacement of two narrow and structurally deficient bridges on State Route 20 over Stamp Creek and Boston Creek. The existing right-of-way for State Route 20 is approximately 100 feet, while the total proposed right-of-way for both projects would be a variable 0 to 25 feet. The total proposed projects' length would be approximately 0.55 miles. An archaeological survey of the proposed projects' corridor was not conducted by GDOT archaeologists based on previous clearance of the project area by Southeastern Archaeological Services, Inc., for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, Alabama (see attachment).
