Abstract

Cate Road (Golden Isles Elementary) consists of two 10’ travel lanes. The north side of the roadway has a grasses shoulder and the south side of the roadway has a 4.5’ sidewalk separated from the edge of pavement with a 4.5’ grasses buffer. Existing right of way is approximately 70 feet. Altama Avenue (Altama Elementary) consists of curb and gutter inside and outside, four 11’ travel lanes, inside turn lanes, 17’ raised median, 10’ shoulder lane and 5’ sidewalk on both sides separated from the roadway with a 2.5’ grassed buffer. The existing Right of Way is approximately 110 feet. Parkwood Drive (Goodyear Elementary) consists of curb and gutter on the outside, two 12’ travel lanes, inside and outside turn lanes, 3’ to 5’ painted median, 5’ sidewalks on both sides separated from the roadway with a 1.5’ grassed buffer. The existing Right of Way is approximately 100 feet. L Street (Burroughs-Molette Elementary) consists of curb and gutter on the outside, two 12’ travel lanes, 5’ sidewalks on each side separated from the roadway with a 5’ grassed buffer. The existing Right of Way is approximately 50 feet. Lee Street (Burroughs-Molette Elementary) consists of curb and gutter on the outside, two 12’ travel lanes, discontinuous 5’ side walk on both sides separated from the roadway with a varying width grassed buffer of 5’ to 18’ feet on the west side and 5’ on the east side. The existing Right of Way is approximately 50 feet. Frederica Road (Oglethorpe Point Elementary) consists of two 9’ travel lanes with a 6.5’ sidewalk on the north side separated from the roadway with a 6’ grassed buffer. The south side has only a grass shoulder approximately 6’ to 8’ wide. The existing Right of Way is approximately 45 feet wide.
