Abstract

The archaeological survey of six acres of land in Carrollton, Georgia did not disclose the presence of any archaeological sites. This area, known as the Knox Street Park site, has been extensively altered due to human occupation. Most of the area has been graded for house construction and most if not all indications of' surface sites have been removed. Extensive shovel testing of' the alluviated areas did not disclose the presence of any buried sites.
