The purpose of this project is general bridge maintenance and the correction of a severe erosion issue at Abutment 2 on the eastern side of the State Route (SR) 136 bridge over Talking Rock Creek (Structure ID 213-0023-0) in Murray County, Georgia. Rip-rap will be placed along Abutment 2 to prevent further erosion. Additional, non-ground-disturbing bridge maintenance activities include epoxy injections of the caps, polymer overlay of the deck, and joint replacement. Existing right of way (ROW) varies and is a minimum of 50 feet on either side of the bridge.
