Abstract

The original project would widen approximately 6.36 miles of existing SR 92/Dallas Highway starting at Malone Road in Douglas County and going north to Nebo Road in Paulding County. From Malone Road to Bill Carruth Parkway, the project would widen the existing SR 92 from 1-lane in each direction to 3-lanes in each direction with a 20' to 24' raised median and 10' rural outside shoulders, 6.5' paved. From Bill Carruth Parkway to Nebo Road, two lanes are proposed in each direction for a total of 4 lanes with a 20' to 24' raised median with 1 0' rural outside shoulders, 6.5' paved. The 6.5' paved shoulders will include a 4' bike lane. Existing right-of-way (ROW) is approximately 100 feet, and newly proposed ROW will be approximately 125 feet, or not to exceed 250 feet in total width . This addendum addresses 17 side streets and easements, and 24 retention pond locations which were not surveyed during the original 2006 phase I. Generally speaking, existing and proposed ROW requirements remain consistent with the original survey.
