Abstract

The project is completely within the City of Senoia. The project will complete the 3 m (10 ft) wide trail from Autumn Creek Dr 1.6 km (1.01 mi) to Seavy St. The multi-use trail will consist of asphalt paved sections (where possible) and a wooden boardwalk structure (where required) in the flood plain sections. The project will begin as a boardwalk in the Ivy Ridge subdivision on the east side of Autumn Creek Dr. The project will proceed 40 m (132 ft) south along Autumn Creek Dr then turn east for 2.7 m (9 ft) before turning north for 45 m (147 ft). The trail will then proceed 34 m (110 ft) east around a drainage pond before turning south 15 to 23 m (50 to 75 ft) from Keg Creek.

This portion of the trail will consist of a boardwalk due to the low wet nature of the this location which is predominantly located within the 100 year floodplain. After 443 m (1,453 ft), the trail will become paved and continue generally southward along the floodplain of Keg Creek for 344 m (1,130 ft) before returning to boardwalk for 97 m (317 ft). The trail becomes paved again for much of the remainder of the trail except for three short boardwalk segments, measuring less than 15 m (50 ft), and will ultimately connect to Seavy St. In the previous plans used for the 2015 survey, the project would have begun on the east side of an existing Keg Creek bridge located on Ivy Ln in the Ivy Ridge subdivision. The project would have continued southward along the west side of Keg Creek before crossing over to join the current path along the east side of Keg Creek.
