Abstract

The site is located approximately 1,300' east of the Interstate 95 and Laurel Island Parkway interchange, south of and adjacent to Crooked River, near Kingsland, Camden County, Georgia. The applicant proposes to impact waters of the United States during the development of a 145-acre single family residential subdivision. The proposed project would impact 2.21 acres of jurisdictional wetlands. The site contains approximately 46.57 acres of jurisdictional wetlands and no isolated non-jurisdictional wetlands. The proposed impacts are shown on the attached drawing titled "Marsh Landing Development Impact Map". In order to mitigate for these impacts, the applicant would purchase 9.47 mitigation credits from a USACE approved mitigation bank that services the project area and preserve 9.48 acres of on-site wetlands.
