Abstract

The proposed project consists of maintenance and rehabilitation of the Peters Street bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad in downtown Atlanta, Georgia (Figure 1). The proposed work includes spall and crack correction, painting of the steel superstructure, co-polymer overlay, edge beam reconstruction, and replacement of steel joints. All work will take place on the bridge structure and within existing right-of-way. No ground disturbance is proposed for this project.
