Abstract

As part of the Georgia Department of Transportation's (GDOT) Low Impact Bridge Program (LISP), a potential bridge replacement has been identified along County Road (CR) 32, Camp Branch Road, located in Ware County, Georgia (Figures 1 and 2). The existing bridge (Bridge ID # 299-5087-0) along CR 32 currently spans a segment of Greasy Branch approximately 4.5 miles northeast of Argyle, Georgia, and 2.5 miles north-northwest of Manor, Georgia. The existing bridge measures approximately 30 feet (9 meters) in length and is 24 feet (7.3 meters) wide. GDOT District 5 plans to replace this bridge due to structural deficiencies present in the existing structure. As a candidate under the LISP , the proposed survey area for the bridge replacement will be confined to the existing

right-of-way (ROW), therefore the investigation of the Expanded Survey Corridor (ESC) was waived.
