TerraXplorations, Inc. (TerraX) of Mobile, Alabama was contracted by Trileaf Corporation (Trileaf) of Maitland, Florida to conduct a Phase I archaeological direct effects survey for the proposed Tift cellular tower in Tift County, Georgia. The direct effects survey was performed on July 21, 2017 and failed to identify or record any cultural resources in the project area. The construction of a cellular tower will not have an effect on any archaeological or historical properties. As a result, no further work is recommended.
