Abstract

This report details the cultural resource impact assessments associated with a proposed Off-Post Army training exercise by the 92"d Engineer Battalion at Bryant Commons Park located in the city of Hinesville in Liberty County, Georgia. An archaeological and architectural assessment was conducted within the area of potential effect associated with the federal undertaking associated with the Army training exercise. Fieldwork was conducted on September 10, 2015 by Fort Stewart Cultural Resource Management staff archaeologists Brian K. Greer, Ashley E. Moss, and Jessie A. Larson. Fieldwork focused on an archaeological survey of approximately 2 acres as well as subject and viewshed photography associated with a proposed demolition of a horse stable located on the property.
