The proposed work consists of resurfacing, patching, milling, striping, raised pavement markers, four foot earth shoulder filling, and curb cuts for wheelchair ramps along an 9.926 mile section of State Route (SR) 17 in Effingham County from SR 30 to Samuel Smalls Senior A venue in downtown Guyton, Georgia (Figure 1). The project will take place within existing right-of-way (ROW) which varies throughout. The limits of construction will be 5 feet from the edge of pavement.
