The proposed project would consist of the construction of a replacement bridge carrying SR 49 over the Norfolk Southern Railroad (see Figure 1 ). In order to accommodate a proposed new line of the Norfolk Southern Railroad, the bridge location would be permanently offset approximately 130 feet northwest of its existing location. The construction of the bridge at this offset location would also require shifting the existing location of Chapman Road, which is currently located approximately 100 feet northwest of SR 49. The existing right-of-way (ROW) varies between 1 00 feet and 320 feet. Proposed ROW would vary between 1 00 feet and 41 0 feet.
