Archaeological Survey along SR 40 from W of CS481 to E of PR718, Camden County, GA

Abstract

As identified in the CE, the proposed project will widen and reconstruct the existing SR 40 four-lane undivided section and rehabilitate the existing divided urban section. Since the last archaeological survey, the project limit at the end of the project on SR 40 was extended from STA 85+50 to STA 86+20.00 because of design changes to the median. The project limit on S. Grove Boulevard was extended from STA 0+00.00 to STA -1+50.00 due to a needed tie-in for proposed utility relocation. Temporary easements were added for driveway tie ins, and sign removals. Permanent easements were added for construction and maintenance of slopes. Improved drainage along SR 40 and the Grove Boulevard intersection is required. This reevaluation includes the 70 to 100 feet of additional easement added in two areas. This reevaluation serves as an addendum to the 201 0 Survey Report.
