Abstract

The proposed project would consist of upgrading the existing traffic signal installations at the following 13 intersections in Franklin, Hart and Madison Counties:

Hart County:

1. SR 8 / US 29 at SR 17 / Royston Bypass in the City of Royston

2. SR 8 / US 29 at Walmart in the City of Hartwell

3. SR 8 / US 29 at Old US 29 in the City of Hartwell

Franklin County:

4. SR 17 at SR 59 in the City of Lavonia

5. SR 51 at the I-85 Northbound Ramp in the City of Lavonia

6. SR 51 at the I-85 Southbound Ramp in the City of Lavonia

7. SR 106 at the I-85 Northbound Ramp in the City of Lavonia

8. SR 106 at the I-85 Southbound Ramp in the City of Lavonia

9. SR 8 / US 29 at Cook Street in the City of Franklin Springs

10. SR 59 at SR 145 / Royston Road in the City of Carnesville

Madison County:

11. SR 72 at SR 98 in the City of Comer

12. SR 8 / US 29 at Glenn Carey Road in the City of Comer

13. SR 8 / US 29 at SR 98 in the City of Danielsville

Upgrades would consist of the replacement of the existing signal poles as well as the installation of conduits, cabinets, and pedestrian accommodations at each intersection.
