Abstract

Work was commenced at eight o’clock Monday morning, September 13, 1965, in conjuction with archaeological excavations and exploratory research on the superstructure of the Owens-Thomas House on Oglethorpe Square in Savannah, Georgia. This was done for the express purpose of determining, if possible, the original plan and appearance of this fine old Regency Town House at about the time that it was completed for its owner, Mr. Richard Richardson, in the year 1819.
