Abstract

The proposed project would consist of streetscape improvements on SR 96 in downtown Reynolds, Georgia. The project proposes to add landscaping and entrance features at the city limits to the west at Suggs Mill Pond Road and to the east at South General John B. Gordon Road. Additional landscaping and lighting features would be installed between Horry/Sumter Street and Lashley Street. Recent GDOT landscaping has been installed between Armory Street and Macon Street in the downtown area. Within this area, improvements would include lighting, pedestrian benches, and garbage receptacles. The proposed improvements within the area to the west of Armory Street and to the east of Macon Street, but still between Horry/Sumter Street and Lashley Street include landscaping, lighting, pedestrian benches, and garbage receptacles. The entire project area is located between the city limits on SR 96 at Suggs Mill Pond Road and South General John B. Gordon Road.
