The proposed project would provide a borrow pit/wetland mitigation site for project FLF-450(3); the widening of S.R.22/U.S.80 between U.S.27 Alt. and Kendall Creek east of Columbus. The proposed borrow pit/wetland mitigation site is located north of S.R.22/U.S.80 approximately 1.5 miles east of Garrett Road/C.R.100. The proposed borrow pit/wetland mitigation site would contain approximately 14 acres. An archaeological survey consistent with the proposed project boundaries was conducted.
