The proposed project would consist of pedestrian infrastructure improvements in the vicinity of McDonough Elementary, Wesley Lakes Elementary, Hampton Elementary, Red Oak Elementary, Fairview Elementary, and Stockbridge Middle School in the cities of McDonough and Stockbridge in Henry County. All improvements would be accomplished entirely within the existing right-of-way (ROW) and would comply with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) requirements and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) guidelines.
