Kingsley Charter School is located in a residential neighborhood in DeKalb County. As part of the Safe Routes to School Program (SRTS), GDOT plans to install sidewalks, crosswalks, and lighting to increase traffic safety and allow more of the children in the surrounding neighborhoods to walk to school. The current plans involve new sidewalks along the western side of Brendan Drive and along the north side of Dartford Drive, as well as a small section directly in front of Kingsley School. The Phase I Archaeological Survey focused on the areas slated for new sidewalk development.
