The proposed project would consist of maintenance of GDOT Bridge No. 149-0003-0, located at State Route SR 34 over the Chattahoochee River (see attached location map). Work on the bridge would include the following:
A. Correction of spalls, delamination, cracks and erosion issues in the substructure.
B. Develop a redundant system for the cantilevered shoe bearing assembly.
C. Zone painting of beams and bearings.
D. Repair of any damaged or missing anchor bolts.
E. Bridge Deck rehabilitation (possible Hydro-demolition, latex modified overlay).
F. Reconstruction of edge beams.
G. Joint replacement where necessary.
H. Drift removal.
I. All other maintenance items, as needed (such as vegetation removal).
