Abstract

The proposed work consists of resurfacing, patching, milling, 2 foot shoulder widening, curb cuts, striping, and raised pavement markers with 4 foot earth shoulder filling along a 12.16 mile section of State Route (SR) 45 from SR 62 in Early County to SR 37 in Calhoun County (Figure 1). The project will take place within existing right-of-way (ROW) which varies throughout. The limits of construction will be 6 feet from the existing edge of pavement. Curb cuts include Type ā€œDā€ ramps at Azalea Street (2, SW & NW corners), Maxwell Street (2, SE & NE corners), Camelia Avenue (2, SW & NW), Aries Street (2, SE & NE), and MLK Street (4, SE, SW, NE, & NW).
