The proposed project will enhance the streetscape for streets on the periphery of downtown. Sidewalks will be enhanced with decorative pavers that are more pedestrian friendly; sidewalks will be made ADA accessible; certain streets within the area will be overlaid with pavement; street lights will be installed that are more pedestrian scale; electrical wiring will be buried; and power poles will be relocated. Landscaping will be added in strategic locations to add some natural beauty. No additional right-of-way will be acquired as part of the proposed project.
