Abstract

Greenhouse Consultants incorporated was retained by Cushman Enterprises, LLC to undertake a Phase I archaeological survey for the proposed expansion of Richmond Hill Elementary School in Bryan County, Georgia. The Project area is a 30.10-acre tract located east of Highway 17 and southwest of Ford Avenue (Figure 1). The purpose of this Phase I investigation was to ascertain the presence or absence of archaeological sites within the project area. The field survey was conducted from November 10 through 12, 2006 under direction of senior archaeologist George Price, RP A, who served as project Principal Investigator and author. No archaeological sites were found as a result of the fieldwork.
