On November 2, 1976, the Columbus Museum of Arts and Crafts, Inc. was retained by Steele Enterprises, Inc. to conduct a cultural resource walkover of the proposed site of Crosscreek Apartments, Columbus, Georgia.
On December 1, 1976 the site was visited by a representative of the Museum. All areas which might potentially contain cultural resources were investigated. No standing structures were noted.
Based on this cultural resource walkover survey, that it is highly unlikely any cultural resources of historical significance are located in the proposed site of the Crosscreek Apartments.
