The proposed work consists of milling, patching, resurfacing, striping, as well as the installation of raised pavement markers and curb cuts along a 0.868-mile section of State Route (SR) 4/U.S. Highway (US) 1 in Jefferson County, Georgia beginning 100 feet north of SR 17 and ending 125 feet south of CS 798/Quaker Road (Figure 1). The project will take place within existing right-of-way (ROW), which varies throughout. The limits of construction will be 5 feet from the edge of pavement.
