This project involves the replacement of Bridge 109-0013-0, which carries SR 169 over Bull Creek in Evans County, Georgia. The proposed project would replace an existing, non-historic, structurally deficient two-lane bridge. The existing culvert is a three-barrel structure measuring 128 feet long and 32 feet wide. The proposed replacement bridge would consist of two 12-foot lanes with six-foot shoulders. It has not yet been determined whether the proposed replacement bridge could be constructed on the same alignment as the existing bridge, or if an alignment shift is needed to maintain traffic. It has also not yet been determined if additional right-of-way (ROW) would be required. If additional ROW is required, it would be no more than 20 feet away from the bridge on the east side for tie-ins.
