Abstract

The proposed project would consist of the construction of a 10-foot to 12-foot multiuse trail along PIB from approximately 700 m (2,300 feet) west of Rogers Bridge Road to McGinnis Ferry Road in Gwinnett County, Georgia (Figure 1). The trail (PIB Trail) would be located on the north and west side of PIB and would include 5-foot inside and outside grassed shoulders. The project along PIB would be within existing right-of-way (ROW), which varies from 200 feet to 370 feet. The project would also include a 10-foot to 12-foot wide Spur Trail with 0 to 2-foot shoulders. The main segment of the Spur Trail would follow a sewer line easement that parallels Suwanee Creek to the Suwanee Creek Park on the east side of Buford Highway. A second segment of the Spur Trail would proceed northeast along a powerline easement to Station Center Boulevard. The proposed ROW for the spur would vary from 7-14 m (20 feet to 55 feet).
