The proposed Five Forks public safety tower site is located at 949 Peeples Valley Road, within an existing, fenced water tank facility near Cartersville, Bartow County, Georgia (USGS White West, Georgia quadrangle) (Figure I). The proposed telecommunications tower undertaking (i.e., the "project area") includes a I 04-meter (340-foot); self-supported telecommunications tower located within an existing 55-m-by-55-m fenced compound (Figure 2). Access to the facility will be gained via an existing drive off Peeples Valley Road.
