The purpose of this project is to replace a structurally deficient bridge (Structure ID 159-501 0-0) carrying Pitts Chapel Road/County Road (CR) 16 over Pittman Branch in Jasper County, Georgia (Figure 1). This bridge replacement project is a candidate for the Low Impact Bridge Program (LIBP). These projects allow for a quick program delivery and are not intended to go beyond existing right-of-way (ROW) or impact sensitive environmental resources. The project limits extend 300 feet from either end of the structure. All work will be restricted to existing row, which measures 60 feet.
