This project involves the replacement of Bridge 057-5024-0, which carries Epperson Road over Canton Creek In Cherokee County. The project is a part of GDOT's Low Impact Bridge Program (LISP). The existing bridge, built in 1952, is structurally deficient and will be replaced. Design plans for the new project were not yet available at the time of the archaeological survey. The existing right-of-way (ROW) measures 50 feet from the center line. The bridge measures 32.8 feet in length. No temporary roadways or bridges are proposed for the project.
