The project involves the replacement of Bridge 015-5014-0, which carries Norton Road over Tom's Creek in Bartow County. The project is included In GDOT's Low Impact Bridge Program (LIBP). The existing bridge, constructed in 1950, is structurally deficient and will be replaced. Design plans for the new project were not yet available at the time of the archaeological survey. The existing right-of-way (ROW) measures 40 feet from the center line. The length of the bridge is 42 feet. No temporary roadways or bridges are proposed for the project.
