This project proposes to reconfigure and widen the existing SR 138 at 1-20 interchange. GDOT has identified two alternatives for the proposed interchange: Alternative A- a diverging diamond interchange; and Alternative 8- a single point urban interchange. The intersection improvements include approximately 1.87 miles along Interstate 20 (1-20) and 1.21 miles along SR 138. Additional study corridor is located along Dogwood Drive located on the northeast side of the planned intersection improvement.
