Abstract

This proposed project is 8.7 miles in length and consists of the resurfacing of SR 400 beginning south of SR 306 and ending at a point south of SR 53. No additional right-of-way is required. Pursuant to the February 2000 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the State Historic Preservation Officer of the Georgia Department of NaturaJ Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
