Abstract

The proposed project would consist of the milling, patching, leveling, resurfacing, shoulder building, and placement of pavement markings on SR 13 in Gwinnett and Hall Counties, Georgia. The proposed project would begin on SR 13 approximately 300 foot south of City Hall Street and continue northeasterly to an end point approximately 500 foot north of Cantrell Road (generally MP 22.41 in Gwinnett County to MP 4. 79 in Hall County). All work will be restricted to within the existing right-of-way. Pursuant to the February 2000 memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the State Historic Preservation Officer of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
