The proposed project would consist of milling, patching, leveling, resurfacing, shoulder building, and the placement of traffic loops and pavement markings on SR 378 in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The proposed project would begin at the SR 13(Buford Highway)/SR 378 intersection and continue southeasterly to an end point at the SR 8/US 29 (Lawrenceville Highway)/SR 378 intersection. All work will be restricted to within the existing right-of-way. Pursuant to the February 2000 memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Administration (FHW A), the State Historic Preservation Officer of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
