Abstract

As many of these projects will be in-place replacements of county bridges requiring no new right-of-way, these were cleared of archaeological involvement since the right-of-way had been severely disturbed by past construction activities. Those projects requiring changes in road alignment or additional right-of-way were subjected to archaeological survey methods, including pedestrian (walk-through) survey and sub-surface testing, when necessary. No archaeological sites were encountered. Therefore, there should not be adverse impacts on the State's cultural resources connected with the above projects.

BRF-010-1(19) will be the replacement of two bridges on S.R. 14 near Hogansville. One bridge is over Yellow Jacket Creek and the other bridge is over Flat Creek. These will be two lane structures.
