Abstract

This project proposes maintenance to SR 232, consisting of milling and resurfacing, beginning at CR 799/Shady grove Drive and ending at SR 104/Washington Road. All work wi ll take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required. Total project length is approximately 3.00 miles Pursuant to the February 2000 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Administration (FHW A), the State Historic Preservation Officer of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
