Abstract

This project consists of the milling, leveling, resurfacing, and shoulder building of SR 77 beginning at its intersection with SR 16 and ending at its intersection with SR 15. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way, with no new right-of-way required. Total project length is approximately 4.70 miles. Pursuant to the February 2000 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Administration (FHW A), the State Historic Preservation Officer of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
