Abstract

Five maintenance projects in District 1:

Project 1: Archeological Assessment of a Habersham County Resurfacing Project. This proposed project consists of milling, leveling, and resurfacing on SR 179, beginning .2 mile south of SR 15/SR 365/US 441 and ending at SR 17. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way, no new right-of-way is required. Total project length is 3.49 miles.

Project 2: Archeological Assessment of a Habersham County Resurfacing Project. This proposed project is 4.63 miles in length and consists of milling and resurfacing on SR 115 beginning .45 mile north of the White County Line and ending .26 miles south of SR 17. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way, no new right-of-way is required .

Project 3: Archeological Assessment of a Jackson County Resurfacing Project. This project is 11.4 miles long and consists of the milling, resurfacing, and installation of curb and gutters on SR 15 Alternate, beginning at SR 11 Business and ending at SR 15/US 441. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way, no new right-of-way is required.

Project 4: Archeological Assessment of an Elbert/Hart County Resurfacing Project. This is the proposed milling, leveling, and resurfacing of SR 17 beginning at SR 172 in Elbert County and ending at the Royston Bypass in Hart County. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way, no new right-of-way will be required. The total project length is 6.18 miles.

Project 5: Archeological Assessment of a Hall County Resurfacing Project. This proposed project includes 3.95 miles of milling and resurfacing on SR 60, beginning at CR 1013/Fraser Circle and ending just north of CR 179/Lodge Drive. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way, no new right-of-way will be required.
